IMST School Balimela Hosts Annual Health Checkup for Students
In a continuous effort to ensure the well-being and health of its students, IMST School Balimela organized an Annual Health Checkup from 25th to 30th July 2024. The program, held on the school campus, saw the participation of 336 students, who were meticulously examined and provided with health advice by Dr. Susan Sunalini, an esteemed medical officer with a wealth of experience in family medicine and public health.
Dr. Susan Sunalini, who serves as the RHS Medical Officer in Malkangiri, led the health checkup with her team, bringing in a comprehensive approach to student health. With qualifications including an MBBS, M.D, a Postgraduate Diploma in Family Medicine (PGDFM), and a Diploma in Food and Infectious Disease (DFID), Dr. Sunalini’s expertise ensured that each student received personalized attention and care.
Key Highlights of the Health Checkup:
- Comprehensive Health Screening: Each of the 336 students underwent a thorough health examination, covering aspects like general health, vision, dental hygiene, nutritional status, and overall physical fitness.
